Zen Art Mindfulness & Zen Meditation Virtual Art Camp
July 27 @ 5:30 pm - July 31 @ 8:30 pm
An event every day that begins at 5:30 pm, repeating indefinitely
The Bellwood-Antis Public Library presents a Zen Art Virtual Art Camp for children and teens ages 10-14 virtually presented by local artist Annie Bickel from Monday, July 27th through Friday, July 31st from 5:30-8:30 PM daily.
Children who attend Zen Art Camp will practice calming techniques of mindfulness through art activities, stretching & breathing exercises, and yoga. They will also practice guided meditation techniques including progressive relaxations. Children in the camp will learn by creating their own meditation and sharing it with the class and create a wide variety of art projects whose roots are in mindfulness including free and sumi-e painting techniques, collage, and more.
Zen Art Camp is free, but space is very limited. To register your child, you MUST message the library on Facebook, call us at 742-8234, or e-mail email@example.com. Zen Art Camp is made possible with support from M&T Bank and the Harrison C. & Margaret A. Snyder Trust.
