Week of the Young Child Celebration

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, (rain date of May 20, 2023), Lakemont Park will host the Week of the Young Child Celebration from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. The event will be held at Pavilions 7 and 8. Families and young children who attend will be able to visit participant tables, complete FREE fun activities, and receive information and giveaways; each child will also receive a FREE book, drink and snack. Area mascots will attend as well as the Lakemont Fire Department and Trucks. For use on that day only, a special coupon will also be given to each attendee for a discounted price for Lakemont Park’s All Day Ride & Play Pass. This event is coordinated by the Week of the Young Child Committee and the United Way of Blair County’s Family Resource Center.
