An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until March 30, 2023
Swinging Squares dance group has announced its schedule for March. Dances are held at the Jaggard Street United Methodist Church in Altoona.
Prerounds are at 6 p.m., with class from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and the club dance from 8 to 9 p.m.
March 2 — “Brownie Challenge”– Bring your homemade brownies.
March 9 — Regular club dance.
March 16 — No dance.
March 23 — Regular club dance.
March 30 — Pajama Night. Wear your favorites.
It is free to watch. New classes start in September.
Anyone interested in learning to square dance can call Donna Williamson at 814-934-7779.
Couples, singles and families are all invited to get square — dancing, that is, group members said.
