National Get Outdoors Day!

Prince Gallitzin State Park will be celebrating National Get Outdoors Day on Saturday June 10th from 1:00PM – 5:00PM, followed by our first “Music at Muskrat” concert series on the beach starting at 5:00PM at Muskrat Beach Area #2.
This event is a FREE outdoor recreation fair for people of all ages and skill levels. There will be a variety of booths and stations set up for everyone to visit at their own pace, and will include disc golf, geocaching, fishing, archery,, Kayak Instruction (US Coast Guard Auxiliary), guided hikes, pontoon boat tours of the lake, camping, and more! Most stations will give visitors the opportunity to try out a new activity, while others will provide information (sailing, camping, volunteering). Registration is not required, but limited spots are available for on-the-water kayak instruction (ten spots at 1pm and ten spots at 3pm, 90-minute sessions).
All equipment for these activities will be provided, and fishing licenses are not required if fishing under an instructor’s direction.
