History After Hours – July 2022

Join the Railroaders Memorial Museum and Railroad City Brewing Company on Thursday, July 7 for a History After Hours double feature—two lectures for the price of one! Craft beers (included with admission) will be served by Railroad City Brewing Company throughout the night. Attendees must be 21+ to be served and identification is required. At 5:30PM, Harriett Gaston, a Coordinator of Minority Programs at Penn State, will present “Heading North: The Underground Railroad in PA.” At 7PM, Jerry Zolten, a professor at Penn State, will explore local music with “Altoona in Tune: An on the Record Portrait of a Community.”
