Exploration & Photography Weekend at Cresson

Come explore the once abandoned Cresson Sanatorium and Prison.
New passes have been added to include expanded ages! Guided Tours are now available for attendees ages 14+ with an accompanying adult. Passes for self-guided and self-paced exploration are available in staggered slots from 3 hours up to the full day for attendees ages 18 and older.
-The Cresson Sanatorium and Prison’s exploration area includes 34 acres of approximately 20 buildings to explore. A map is provided at check in that includes details such as the year built, usages, and size of each building.
-Passes are staggered and limited to ensure photographers are explorers are able to enjoy the experience without a crowd. Check-in is quick and easy, no need to print your tickets. At check-in we use a reservation sheet to sign in visitors, provide you with a map, share safety guidelines, and answer any questions you might have!
-Porta-potties are available on site in multiple locations. Masks are suggested, but not required. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are a must! A flashlight is suggested for the tunnel, as we leave lights off for better photography.
