Basket Raffle

Aria is five years old and was born with a Congenital CMV, Cytomegalovirus, infection. This has caused her developmental delays across all areas of development since birth. I am reaching out to you in hopes that you would be willing and eager to help get her the services she needs to make some real gains in her therapeutic progress.
We are coordinating a basket raffle for Aria on April 1, 2023, to help raise enough funds for her to travel to Canada to receive an intense DMI (Dynamic Movement Intervention) treatment. This treatment is a unique way to allow Aria to access her gross motor skills while aligning her posture and balance. Unfortunately, United States does not offer this therapy and Canada is the closest location. Aria is nearing her fifth birthday and has not been fortunate enough to run around in our yard with her brother and sister or participate in most activities that her peers do. With this therapy, I am hopeful that she will be that much closer to enjoying the things most children take for granted. Not only will this walk raise enough money for Aria’s therapy, but it will bring awareness of CMV to other families and hopefully become an annual event where we can sponsor other children like Aria in the future.
Most people have never heard of CMV, and shockingly it is the leading cause of childhood deafness.
We would love your support to help bring awareness to other families that have the opportunity to educate themselves, as well as, help other families that are in the same situation as we are and start to form a community.
