Annie

Presented by Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School, Annie is based on the comic strip created by Harold Gray, Little Orphan Annie. The musical tells the story of the spunky, warm-hearted Annie who is trying to escape from the New York City Orphanage, run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. When Annie is chosen to spend a week at the mansion of billionaire Oliver Warbucks, she sees her chance to finally get away. Annie has plenty of adventures and everyone at the mansion falls in love with her, but when Mr. Warbucks offers to adopt her, Annie instead asks for his help in finding her real mom and dad. A reward is offered, but the wicked Miss Hannigan returns with Rooster and Lily to kidnap Annie and take the reward for themselves. Annie and the gang foil Miss Hannigan’s plans and Annie finds a new home and a new family with Mr. Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace and a loveable dog named Sandy..
